Who Owns the Miami Seaquarium?

On July 2, 2014, the Seaquarium was bought by Palace Entertainment, owned in turn by Parques Reunidos, which owns over 70 theme parks including Marineland, Antibes in France. Marineland in France holds four captive orcas. On May 30, 2014 Orca Network wrote a letter to the former CEO, now succeeded by Pascal Ferracci, CEO of Parques Reunidos Servicios, asking him to consider Lolita's health and welfare in their decisions about Lolita's retirement. Palace Entertainment's actions toward Lolita will be very important to a great many people, and their image could suffer or could soar depending on whether they hinder or help her return home.

EQT Corporation
In July 2019, Parques Reunidos was sold to EQT Corporation, based in Sweden. From their website: EQT is a global investment organization with a 25-year history of investing in, owning and developing companies.
